Proverbs 29:18 @ 5 in the Morning

It's 7 AM on July 16. At approximately 5 o'clock this Sabbath (Saturday) morning, I woke up. As I did, I had a vision of a community center; it was the inside of a bustling community center where small clusters of people, varying in age, were meeting and doing all kinds of productive things. It was a quick snapshot but I really felt like that’s what I had seen. At first, I wasn't sure if I had dreamed about it and the idea remained imprinted on my mind even in waking or if it had just popped into my head as I awoke. What I did know was that I couldn't stop thinking about it. I tried to go back to sleep (which I usually have no problems with...trust and believe lol) but found that I couldn't. So I sat up and thought about what I had seen and the feelings that accompanied this picture in my head; I felt happy and excited. Although, it was 5 in the morning, I realized I was completely awake and on full alert. So I began to have my personal devotion. I wanted to look up Scripture about God giving His children vision(s). The first one that came to mind included "without a vision, my people perish." I searched for it online and found that it was Proverbs 29:18- "Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he." I was a bit perplexed but I was still excited because this picture in my head in the stillness of early morning was an answer to prayer. I’ll enlighten you more on that in the next post. But I can tell you that since that moment I’ve felt like my life has more direction. It took me just over a week to complete this short post for various ridiculous reasons, so today is July 24, 2011 lol. But I'm gonna post this today and start on the second post in which I promised to explain this whole "vision in answer to prayer" business. Until then, look for God in the tiny, seemingly insignificant aspects and moments of your life. I guarantee He'll show Himself to you!!

Peace and Love,
Tiny TAC
